There are a plethora of guides that exist on the Internet that show you how to do this but most of them miss out a critical detail in the process or are somewhat ambiguous so we’ve written a comprehensive guide that avoids that.

 

The Buttons

These are the buttons you will be pressing as part of the process.

 The Power button

Process

Turn the printer off for at least 10 seconds

Press and hold the Stop/Resume button
Turn the printer on.
Release the Stop/Resume button when power light stops flashing

Release Stop/Resume button for 1 second

Press and hold the Stop/Resume button, again, for 10 seconds

Release the Stop/Resume button again for 1 second

Press the Stop/Resume button and release

That’s it…
That’s it…

Your printer ink levels should now be reset and your printer will run a priming routine.

  1. Turn the printer off
  2. Leave printer off for at least 10 seconds
  3. Press and hold the Stop/Resume button
  4. Press and release the Power button
  5. When the Power button stops flashing, release the Stop/Resume button for 1 second
  6. Press and hold the Stop/Resume button for 10 seconds
  7. Release the Stop/Resume button for 1 second
  8. Press the Stop/Resume button for 1-2 seconds then release

The ink light should stop flashing and your printer should start to re-prime itself
