Updates to the WICReset service have resulted in a number of printers failing to reset with the error:

Could not write value to printer EEPROM

Note: The error appeared whenever a waste ink counter reset was attempted but did not use up the WICReset key so it did not result in any wasted keys.

This issue is resolved with the latest release (3.70.0070 – Feb 13 2014).

Additional functionality has also been updated/added with the following changes:

  • Canon inkjet support has now been added (to be documented)
  • Epson models added:
    • XP-510
    • XP-610
    • XP-615
    • XP-710
    • XP-810
    • XP-950
